These 8 hour classes take place on 1 day of a weekend.
I am so excited to now offer this new and unique approach to Prenatal Education that I teach in partnership with Dr. Jackie Streich, ND a board certified naturopathic doctor and doula who specializes in maternal and newborn care. She provides many printed resources for parents if she is unable to attend the actual class and attends when she can to answer any questions that parents may have. We work together in our doula practice so she is also readily accessible to all clients after our class together for any questions that you might have.
The curriculum is designed to teach expectant parents everything you need to know about the last few weeks of pregnancy into the first few months postpartum from a positive and holistic perspective. This class is honest, straightforward and has been specifically created to empower expectant parents for their upcoming birth. Nutrition and health are also discussed in detail by Dr. Jackie to make sure that you are prepared both before and after your birth. The classes are designed to meet the needs of clients with busy schedules who would like to meet other soon-to-be parents. This is a great class for those who learn by listening to others.
Before attending your prenatal class, you will fill out a questionnaire that allows you to express the vision that you have of your birth and ask any specific questions that you would like to have answered. This questionnaire also allows me to gain insight into the location of your birth (home vs. hospital) and care providers attending your birth. Gathering this information allows me to craft the class with everyone’s information in mind so that I can attempt to address all issues.

These 5-hour classes are designed to meet the needs of clients with busy schedules. They are conducted in the comfort of your own home.

I serve the following areas: Toronto, East York, North York, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Beaches, Scarborough, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Ajax, Pickering, Markham (and sometimes even Burlington) I will also service outlying areas but there is a cost of travel.

Online Prenatal Class

MyBirth Online is my new online childbirth class that is the perfect alternative for busy parents needing a flexible class schedule or for moms on bed rest. Have you given birth before? This online class is a great refresher course! While nothing can replace the personal connection of an on-site childbirth class, you’ll learn the same essential information, including what’s happening to your changing body, how you’ll know when you are really in labor, helpful comfort techniques, advice for partners, an overview of medical procedures, and much more.
You also have full access to me, an experienced Childbirth Educator and Doula to answer any questions that you might have throughout the process. You will also have access to my client site that has a wealth of resources to help you along the way.
